From Photo to Porcelain: Your Memorial Journey.

Every Pawcelain memorial piece embarks on a gentle dialogue with time in Jingdezhen. We distill 72 traditional craftsmanship steps into a visible path, allowing you to sense how your memories gradually settle into eternity through the artisan's hands.

① Photo Upload Send us the photo you treasure most. Tell us your pet's name, personality, and the details worth remembering—the style of their collar, the notch in their left ear, or that little flower they always wore.

② Hand-Shaping The artisan shapes the clay on the wheel by hand, sculpting an exclusive posture based on your photo. No cold mold replication, only a dialogue between hands and clay. Every curve carries the warmth and vitality unique to handcraft.

③ Drying & Refining The clay body rests in the drying room for several days until moisture naturally evaporates. The artisan takes this time to carefully smooth the edges, remove sharp corners, and apply "water replenishment"—using a brush dipped in clean water to wipe the surface, removing dust and fine knife marks, laying a solid foundation for the firing to come.

④ Bisque Firing at 800°C First entry into the kiln: 800°C flames strip away the fragility of the clay, granting it a firm skeleton. The bisque body now possesses the character of porcelain, ready to receive its colors.

⑤ Hand-Painting The painter works from your photo, using underglaze techniques to depict stroke by stroke: your pet's eyes, the texture of their fur, those unique marks that made them who they were. Your specified background elements—national flags, flowers, or other accessories—are also captured on the porcelain body at this moment.

⑥ 🔔 Photo Confirmation — Awaiting Your Approval Once painting is complete, we will send you photos for confirmation. This is the final checkpoint before entering the kiln: Does the expression match what you remember? Are the colors true to life? Kind reminder: The faster you confirm, the faster we can proceed. If we do not receive your response within 3 days, we will consider this as default confirmation and continue with subsequent steps to avoid delaying the overall production schedule.

⑦ Glazing After confirmation, the artisan begins glazing: utilizing the bisque body's water absorption to ensure even glaze adhesion; controlling glaze thickness between 0.5-1 mm; carefully inspecting and repairing any bubbles or missed spots to ensure the glaze surface is flawless.

⑧ Final Firing at 1280°C Second entry into the kiln: 1280°C high temperature for sustained tempering. Glaze and porcelain body fuse and vitrify in the heat, colors permanently sealed beneath the glaze surface. The texture becomes dense and hard, never fading or wearing through the years.

⑨ Quality Check & Packaging After emerging from the kiln, each piece undergoes three rounds of quality inspection. Once confirmed flawless, it is carefully wrapped in custom shockproof packaging. This dedication finally transforms into an eternal embrace you can hold in your hands. From a lump of clay to a warm memorial vessel, every step is completed by the hands of Jingdezhen artisans. Some companionships are worth being polished slowly by time.
